Roy Sharples is a CEO, entrepreneur, and technology executive specialising in scaling AI, cloud, and platform businesses into high-performance revenue engines.

​

He is the Founder of Unknown Origins, an advisory platform supporting startups, scale-ups, and enterprises in productisation, go-to-market transformation, and commercial growth.

 

Roy previously held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, where he built and commercialised global platforms, led organisations of up to 500 people, and contributed to over $1B in revenue growth across 190+ markets.

 

His work focuses on aligning product, go-to-market, and ecosystem strategy to accelerate growth and position businesses for scale and exit.

 

He is also an Adjunct Professor at Central Saint Martins and the author of Creativity Without Frontiers and Alchemy of the Imperfectionists.
